Quiet the Loop

A 7-minute reset for when your mind won't stop rehearsing the decision.

Quiet the Loop

Most decisions feel hard not because they are hard, but because we keep relitigating them. This guide gives you a tactile, 7-minute ritual to close the loop and reach a state where the next step becomes obvious.

Why we loop

The loop happens when the brain has gathered enough information to decide but hasn't been given permission to stop gathering. The body keeps the engine running. The trick isn't more thinking — it's a clean stopping signal.

The 7-minute reset

1. Two minutes: write the decision in one sentence. No qualifiers.
2. Two minutes: write the version of you who already chose. What do they not worry about anymore?
3. Two minutes: pick the smallest, most reversible action that points in that direction.
4. One minute: do that action.

That's it. The loop closes not by deciding the big thing but by giving the body proof of motion.
